69TH ANNUAL J.C. LIONS CLUB TURTLE DERBY

The Johnson City Lions Club is holding its 65th annual Turtle Derby to the Carver Recreation Center. The turtles will run on Thursday October 20th at 7:00PM. Admission is free and you can have a Turtle in the race for a donation of $50

The Turtle Derby is the Johnson City Lions Club largest fundraiser. All funds raised go to Sight Conservation Projects and other needed programs of the Lions.

The Johnson City Lions Club will celebrate the 69th anniversary of its founding in 1947 this December. Sight conservation is the main mission of Lions Clubs throughout the world and the Johnson City Lions Club uses the funds raised from the Turtle Derby and other projects to purchase eyeglasses, do eye screening for school children’s of Johnson City area.
