About the Johnson City Lions


On the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at noon at the Johnson City Country Club.  Visitors are very welcome!

Board of Directors meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at noon at the Country Club.  All Lions members are cordially invited and urged to attend.


Providing eyeglasses free of charge to indigent residents of Johnson City, Washington County and Unicoi County (click here for more information or to apply for assistance)

Collection of used eyeglasses for recycling or distribution to the poor around the world (click here for more information, to find recycling locations, or to arrange a pickup of glasses you have collected)

Support of Lions Volunteer Blind Industries, a non-profit workshop and training facility for the visually impaired.

Support of Tennessee Lions Eye Center at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital
