The Johnson City Lions Club Board of Directors met on Thursday December 9th, 2021, at 12 noon at the Johnson City Country Club. Present at the meeting were King Lion Steve Campbell, Lion Ken Gough, Lion Ed Gibbons, Lion George Winton, Lion Jerry Lonon, and Lion Doris Kaifa (Secretary).
The meeting was called to order by King Lion Steve Campbell.
King Lion Steve Campbell asked for project and committee reports.
Committee and Project Reports:
Lion Ken Gough gave the budget report, which was proved by consent.
The Club voted to give $100 to the Johnson City Country Club for their employees’ Christmas Bonus.
Lion Ed Gibbons delivery 4 boxes of food from the district to the Club. The board agree to give the food boxes to the Good Samaritan Ministries for distribution in the community.
The board voted to divide the Christmas Benevolence Fund between the Salvation Army, Haven of Mercy, and Good Samaritan. Each will be given $80.
The Salvation Army will speak on the 16th December.
Our next regular meeting will be held on Dec.16th, 2021.
