The Johnson City Lions Club Board of Directors met on Thursday September 10th, 2020 at 12 noon at the Johnson City Country Club. Present at the meet were Lions Brian Powell (President), Ken Gough, Don Raines, Ed Gibbons, Jerry Lonon, George Winton, Debbie Shipley, Steve Campbell and Doris Kaifa (secretary).
The meeting was called to order by President Brian Powell.
The minutes of the August 13rd, 2020 Board meeting and the September 3nd 2020 regular meeting were approved as presented.
Lion Ken Gough presented the financial report for August, 2020, which was approved as presented.
Lion George and Lion Don give an update on the Turtle Derby. The Turtle Derby is scheduled for Saturday October 10th at 10:00 am at the Boys and Girls Club.
Lion Ken is still collecting eye glasses.
Old Business:
There was no old business for discussion.
New Business:
Upon motion duly made and approved with one dissenting vote, the Board agreed to help a lady with the cost of shipping donated charitable items to her family in the Philippines, cost not to exceed $300.00.

Next regular meeting is October 1st, 2020. Next board meeting is October 8th, 2020.
