Hearing no objections King Lion Gough accepted both treasurers’ reports as submitted by Lion Shipley.

4. Membership: No report.

5. Dues: No report.

6. Committee Reports:

7. Eye Screenings: Southside Elementary was scheduled for May 1 and May 4 but could not be conducted because no parental consent forms were provided. That school will be rescheduled for August. May 7 Lion Winn screened 18 students at Woodland Elementary. Today your secretary screened 22 at First UM Church with Lion Terry taking care of the administrating. A few more screenings will be done tomorrow beginning at 9:30 AM. Thursday, May 28th Lion Sterling will operate the camera at Kinder Care with Lion CB Willis administrating. Four screenings are scheduled for June, none in July and a bunch in August.

New Business:

King Lion asked for volunteers for program chairs for 2015-2016. A few months remain unfilled. This year no one has to sign up for 2 months so we need 12 volunteers.

Volunteers are also need to chair various committees. King Ken will email a sign-up sheet. Unlike the Army, it’s better to sign up for something instead of being assigned. Pick something you want to do.

Lion Gough said the biggest challenge this year will be to bring up membership with dedicated new or previous Lions who are willing to work and have fun but not too much fun.

Old Business:

Next week’s speaker will be Miss Johnson City (guess this is really new business).

It was agreed to induct the new club officers at the first regular meeting in June with DG Ed Gibbons presiding.

Meeting adjourned at: 12.59 PM.
